What's Fortress and what makes in unique?
  • Modular synth
Fortress is inspired by the phylosophy of sunch synthesizers as Bastl Kastle and Korg Volca Modular. It consists of 4 separate modules (or blocks), that can be connected to each other with wires in any way you like, creating both typical and unusual combinations. Be imaginative and feel the flexibility of modular synthesis - every knob can be modulated!
  • Oscillator with 8 synth engines
Main Fortress block — the oscillator — has 8 Lo-Fi synth engines: Wavefold, Sync, Additive-1, Additive-2, FM, Formant, Sample&Hold and Noise. It also has a separate sub-oscillator output for fat, gritty octave sounds.

  • Multi-function processor
The second important block of Fortress synth is its processor. It takes any signal as input and processes it, and can act as a filter (VCF), amplifier (VCA), attenuator, additional simple oscillator (VCO) or modulator (LFO), or even function as a separate drum synth!
  • Two versatile LFOs
As for modulation, Fortress has two versatile synchronizable LFOs. Both have an analog output with adjustable wave shape, a square (or digital) output and a Sample & Hold output, which generates 8- or 16-step voltage sequences. First LFO can be switched into an AR or AHR envelope generator, second LFO has a sync input frequency divider.
  • Vast commutation
The most interesting of any synth is its back panel! Fortress has one mono audio output with an internal 6-channel summer-mixer, TRS and USB MIDI inputs (TRS MIDI A or B) with modulation, synchronization and note messages for using Fortress with an external sequencer and an additional CV input/output for commutation with other synthesizers.
  • Portable, mobile and accessible
Fortress is barely larger than an adult's palm and has an internal battery for up to 10 hours of non-stop playing: experiment on the go! With each synth we also include a carrying case, patch cables and a detailed instruction, that will help even a beginner understand the difficult but wonderful world of modular synthesis.

Synthesizer parameters
  • Built-in battery life is 10 hours.
  • USB-C Power consumption during charging is 5V/1A. For maximum charging speed, use a power supply with at least the maximum current.
  • Audio output protection impedance is 100 Ohms.
  • Patch-point voltage range is 0 to 3.3 Volts.
  • Use the EXT and AUDIO outputs on the back to connect to other synthesizers, which include an additional overvoltage protection. Voltage range is -12 to +12 volts.
  • Supported TRS MIDI standards are TRS MIDI A and TRS MIDI B.
